Measuring 200 x 100 cm, Human Order VII occupies the wall with a assertive presence. The work is part of my ongoing exploration of urban movement, structure, and collective presence. The work reflects on the subtle systems that shape contemporary city life—how individuals move within architectural grids, how order emerges from apparent chaos, and how rhythm defines metropolitan experience.

Through layered photographic elements and a carefully balanced composition, the piece oscillates between abstraction and figuration, inviting viewers to look closer and discover shifting perspectives.Blurred figures intersect within an architectural framework, suggesting both autonomy and choreography — a visual metaphor for the invisible patterns that shape urban life.

Produced as a museum-quality face-mount, the photograph is sealed behind acrylic glass and mounted on aludibond with a precision wooden frame. This presentation intensifies depth, contrast, and luminosity, allowing the layered motion within the image to unfold with clarity and spatial resonance. The reflective surface subtly interacts with the surrounding light of the Lounge, integrating the artwork into the atmosphere of the space.

This commission marks an exciting collaboration between contemporary art and hospitality design—an opportunity to integrate conceptual photography into a space defined by elegance, comfort, and international exchange. I’m honored that Human Order VII now forms part of the Conrad Hamburg’s visual identity.

My work Fluid Horizon L has been selected for the Octavius Suites at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, located in the contemporary Octavius Tower. This placement highlights a meaningful intersection between fine art photography and luxury hospitality design, and I’m glad to have my work become part of such an iconic and world-renowned destination.

The Fluid Horizon series—created in 2022—explores abstract seascapes through an experimental photographic process. By shooting through found pieces of glass, I distort the traditional horizon line and create shifting bands of color, movement, and atmosphere. These images evoke a sense of calm and fluidity, offering viewers a meditative visual experience that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant energy of Las Vegas.

The curatorial team of the project selected this work for its ability to create tranquility within high-end interior spaces, enhancing the refined environment of the Octavius Suites. These suites are known for their modern elegance, premium design, and focus on offering guests an exceptional, immersive stay. The inclusion of contemporary art plays a key role in shaping this experience—transforming rooms into curated environments that blend comfort, sophistication, and visual impact.

I’m excited to announce that two works from my Fluid Horizon series have been selected for the interior of an Azimut 88 yacht, a project that beautifully aligns contemporary art with luxury yacht design. This collaboration brings my abstract seascape photography into an environment defined by elegance, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the ocean—making it a perfect match for the visual language of this series.

Fluid Horizon is a body of work created in 2022, developed through experimental photography using found glass fragments to reshape the traditional view of seascapes. The resulting images dissolve the line between sky and water, creating fluid, dreamlike horizons that feel both familiar and otherworldly. Each piece captures movement, light, and atmosphere in a way that mirrors the experience of being on open water.

The decision to integrate these works into the Azimut 88 interior highlights a growing appreciation for fine art photography in luxury spaces, particularly within modern yacht interiors where calm, immersive visuals enhance the overall aesthetic and onboard experience. These artworks were chosen for their ability to create a sense of serenity, space, and refined abstraction—qualities that resonate strongly in high-end maritime environments.

I’m grateful to the interior design team and the client for recognizing how contemporary seascape art can transform a space and elevate the emotional tone of a yacht. Collaborations like this encourage meaningful dialogue between art, architecture, and design, and I’m honored to see my work traveling on the water in such a unique way.

My Statement about my series from the exhibition:

This early photo-etching series, hand-printed in 1997 at the BKK Druckwerkstatt in Berlin, marks a formative step in my artistic development. Working directly with copper plates and traditional intaglio techniques, I explored how photographic imagery could be transformed through tactile processes—scratches, aquatint textures, and the pressure of the press. Each print carries the physical trace of the studio: ink embedded in paper fibers, controlled imperfections, and subtle tonal shifts that push the photographs toward abstraction. These works reflect my long-standing interest in merging photography with printmaking and in expanding the image beyond its mechanical origins into a more material, crafted presence.

The vernissage of MOTION STATES at Creative Game Gallery in Berlin was an unforgettable evening, full of energy, dialogue and inspiring encounters. From the moment the doors opened, the gallery space transformed into a vibrant hub where art, movement and conversation flowed seamlessly into one another. Friends, collectors, fellow artists and curious newcomers gathered to explore the works, many drawn to the luminous surfaces and blurred silhouettes that define the series. Rather than rushing through the rooms, the audience took time to observe — mirroring the premise of the exhibition: that movement isn’t a moment, but a state.

Throughout the evening, clusters formed around the artworks, sparking spontaneous conversations about urban life, anonymity, and perception. Visitors were drawn to the mixed media pieces, their layered textures and painterly interventions demanding close inspection. The warm light of the gallery accentuated the subtle shifts of colour and shadow in the works, while the gentle hum of discussion created a wonderfully immersive environment.

The official speech reflected on the Human Blur series and the techniques behind the works. It set the tone for a thoughtful, engaged evening. As the night unfolded, the boundaries between artwork and audience seemed to dissolve — guests became part of the motion, adding their own reflections to the ongoing dialogue.

With wine glasses in hand and Berlin’s late-summer night, the opening of MOTION STATES became exactly what every exhibition hopes to be: not a static presentation, but a living experience. Heartfelt thanks to Creative Game Gallery, the incredible team behind the event, and everyone who joined to celebrate. The journey has just begun — the work continues to move.

Sven Pfrommer – Motion States

Creative Game Gallery presents “Motion States,” a new exhibition by artist Sven Pfrommer, known for his work at the intersection of photography, painting, and digital art.

In “Motion States,” Pfrommer explores the theme of movement as an emotional and visual state. His works depict urban spaces, flowing movements, and human figures in transit—fragmented, superimposed, and at times, detached. The visual language is characterized by blurs, reflections, and multi-layered textures that visualize the moment between perception and memory.

The exhibition includes works from various series, including “Human Blur,” and other urban landscapes from international metropolises. All works are united by an interest in the transience of the urban and the representation of movement not as a moment, but as a state – a “motion state.”

Pfrommer’s artistic approach combines photography with painterly and digital techniques. This results in visual compositions that are both aesthetically captivating and raise questions about identity, urbanity, and perception.

Four with Carpe Diem Gallery commissioned works from my RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK series found a new home at the SMBC Bank in New York City. New York City transforms in the rain—streets shimmer, neon reflections ripple on wet pavement, and umbrellas weave through the urban flow. My series, RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK, captures this poetic atmosphere through lens blur photography, distilling the city’s energy into dreamy, abstract compositions. The series explores the beauty of motion and light, where familiar landmarks dissolve into vibrant impressions. Each image invites the viewer to experience the city in a new way—through softened edges, diffused colors, and the unique textures of a rainy day.
