]]> My portrait series and photo installation shows construction worker in Manila with their traditional way of protecting themselves from sun, heat and dust in bustling downtown Manila. These guys are constantly shaping the rapid development of the Manila skyline. Usually, the workers operate behind construction site barriers and are barely noticed by the public. With the exhibition in the Ayala Museum 2018 I gave them a stage by showcasing the work in Manila.

“MANILA WORKER” has been awarded a Honorable Mention in the 2019 International Photography Awards. The entry competed in the “Fine Art Portrait” category.
