RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK – MY LENS BLUR PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES AT THE SMBC BANK IN NEW YORK CITY
Four with Carpe Diem Gallery commissioned works from my RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK series found a new home at the SMBC Bank in New York City. New York City transforms in the rain—streets shimmer, neon reflections ripple on wet pavement, and umbrellas weave through the urban flow. My series, RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK, captures this poetic atmosphere through lens blur photography, distilling the city’s energy into dreamy, abstract compositions. The series explores the beauty of motion and light, where familiar landmarks dissolve into vibrant impressions. Each image invites the viewer to experience the city in a new way—through softened edges, diffused colors, and the unique textures of a rainy day.
The four selected works are RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK XIV, RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK XII, RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK XI and RAINY DAYS IN NEW YORK VI. All works come as face-mount: a lambda print behind clear acrylic glass 2mm, with polished edges, with alu-dibond as back and aluminum hanging profile.
